"Dear FM,

It has been just over a month now and we wanted to contact you to let you know how wonderfully amazing the FM Band was at our reception. We knew you were good, we knew you were great actually...and you completely surpassed our expectations!

Having our wedding at the Country Club in June, we knew it would be a battle to keep even a quarter of the guests on the dance floor because they tend to migrate out and remain sitting outside the majority of the night on the porch. My father has been a member there for many years, and has seen many bands play from all over. He was floored at the number of people that were on the dance floor and dancing the night away. He keeps saying how he has never seen so many people not only be out on the dance floor, but be there consistently.

You did everything perfect, from the introductions down to the song selections. For the last year it has been a tug of war between us and our parents about older music or new music - and we were all thrilled...which is a hard thing to do!

I know this email is long, but I wanted you to know from the bottom of our hearts how you impacted our wedding day. You can't imagine the constant compliments we have received in regards to the music - you made it a FUN wedding for which we had hoped and which was exactly what we wanted.

So, thanks again for doing everything perfectly, and for making the wedding video SO interesting to watch!"

I just wanted to take a moment to thank The FM Band for helping to make our first black tie gala a huge success! This was the first time our organization had held a large fundraising event and it was critical that we make a great first impression. You helped us do that!

With over 600 people in attendance, the dance floor was never empty! It was challenging to host the event under a tent on the grounds of our children's hospital…but you and the other band members quickly put us at ease. Your group interacted well with the crowd and knew the appropriate music to play at any given moment. The music during the cocktail hour was also a big hit.

When Tami and Frank were planning their wedding, they wanted a club band. We went to hear the band at the Buck Hotel. From the moment we heard the band, we knew this band was it. Before the wedding, we saw the band at other clubs (Woodbine Inn, and Trump Plaza Beach Bar). As most of our friends are dancers, we go to various dance clubs. We basically left the song selection up to the band and you did a fantastic job. At the reception, the dance floor was packed from start to finish. People are still talking about the band ( even the staff at the Blair Mill Inn), and how you came into the crowd and got everyone involved. I received comments from so many people that this was the best wedding that they had ever attended. And, in my opinion, that's due largely to the band. Cara and Susan put so much time during the last year into planning every little detail (centerpieces, place cards for the tables, covers for the chairs, etc.) but I always felt that the guests at the wedding remember 3 things: #1 the music, #2 the food, #3 the bar service. FM exceeded our expectations when it came to, not just good music, but an entertaining performance, led by your high energy as MC. I'm sure you noticed that very few people were sitting during the evening. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. Also, the songs that the band learned just for Cara & Neil were outstanding. Your group was just terrific in every aspect!

"On May 22nd, 2004, I got married to my best friend...

The whole day, from start to finish, was incredible, and neither of us have any complaints whatsoever. One thing that bears mention, however, is the band that played during the reception. FM clearly knew what they were doing; they were able to gauge the mood of the crowd skillfully, and the music was never too loud or at all unwelcome. They played a good mix of songs, and the dance floor was always packed with people eager to cut a rug. In addition, when you hire FM, you also hire a skilled and entertaining emcee. With minimal input from us, the members of FM were able to announce and narrate every major event, and they even walked us first-timers through things like cutting the cake or tossing the garter and bouquet. They were funny but not over-the-top, and everyone got a kick out of their commentaries.

I guess, in the end, the best endorsement that I can give is that after the reception, virtually everyone came up to us to tell us how much fun they had had. At least half of the guests, and probably more, raved about how much they liked the band, and how good the band was. The opinion was pretty much unanimous: FM was a hit, and a big one at that! The point is, if you're looking for a great band to play at your wedding, you really can't go wrong by hiring FM."
